Most mothers-to-be expect hospital staff to give them a few words of reassurance when they go for a routine scan.
But Marie Boswell got all the encouragement she needed from her unborn baby boy himself.
As these amazing pictures show, he gave Miss Boswell the thumbs-up when she went for her 20-week check.

They will paint that in for $5.00 extra.
Aw. My baby girl held her hand up as if to wave “hello.” The ultra sound tech typed in the word, “hi” next to her. lol
Well, she was just under 8lbs when she was born (on her due date, no less). I carried her really high and straight out. ;)
My daughter was an ‘83 baby too! Congratulations on the grandson! (We aren’t there yet.)
A carrier pilot ready for takeoff? Someone tell that kid to wait a few months.
Close.
A pilot on the catapult signals “ready to launch” by saluting the cat officer.
Then one goes on the fastest ride of one’s life.
She was complaining that all her clothes are so tight cause of her butt! I reminded her that her TUMMY was what was growing...and pulling the clothes across her butt!
When they figured out the baby was too big for term, they asked about how big daddy was at birth. over 9 lbs! She’s freaking out...
I’ll be down there in two weeks - I pray she waits till I get there! With my luck, she’ll have him the ONE weekend in between visits! Exciting times coming!
“Its a Fonzarelli.”
Please no. He’s a lib
Thanks! Just praying we are there when he arrives!
This is so weird the same thing happened to my daughter who is 36 on her 20th week she went for a ultrasound and the baby boy also gave a thumbs up..when the lady doing the scan said its a boy ,the baby put his thumb up..the baby is also due on sept 11th,her and her other sons birthday...
It is little two year old Maddox Flynn of Edmonton, Canada. He was born with an awful deformity due to a medical condition, this of his face. It was thought that he might lose an eye if surgery corrected it. I understand and with all respect to Canadian surgeons, that it could not be performed in Canada.
Monies were raised by Canadians and the little chap operated on in New York. The eye was saved and the results are said to be satisfactory. Parents are ecstatic. He will be up and playing Sunday.
Got a little emotional here. God bless the American surgeons.
A perfect liberal.
Awww.. Well good luck to you guys!!
You read my mind! Like Dr. Laura says, “There’s no shame in society today.”
