In July of 1990 I was in the Houston Petroleum Club with my wife and two other couples. We had moved back from South Africa several months earlier and one couple was on Home Leave from Getty/Texaco Kuwait.

I will tell you the same thing I told them, only half joking. Keep the car gassed up, have some water in it and sleep with your track shoes on. Keep everything pointed towards Saudi.
