He thinks he is a great champion of ‘people of color’, and this is what motivates him. He, just like the ‘La Raza’ crowd, and the ‘reparations’ crowd, thinks that this country was built on oppression. Nothing in his history or how he has conducted himself in office, or who he associates with says otherwise.
He hates America. Everything in his background, his education, his work, his quotes, his associates, his being--points to this basic loathing of traditional American and Americanism. That refusing to respect the flag during the national anthem back in the Democratic Primaries said it all. This man is not of us.
He was raised abroad and has nothing in common with 43 other presidents before him who were raised as Americans, with American identity.
He is not American, philosophically speaking. He wants to destroy it to remold and rebuild it in the fashion and manner that he wants.
We should revolt.
