I think what Flycatcher was trying to say in #4 is that Mr Westling [who claims to have grown up in a ‘gender-equal family’] isn't very manly.

Hence the comment that he will be ‘a fine wife’…

In other words, tongue-in-cheek humor.

You're quite correct, Fichori. I was being tongue-in-cheek and that was unfair of me.

Now, after viewing the photo of him and his new wife in post # 10, I have to admit that he does look rather manly in his tiara and dress.
