Could they have the same problem that we have in Wisconsin - they take the gas tax money and use them for non-road use? Or are they taking the gas tax money and using it to subsidize mass transit, like choo-choo trains? Maybe if they actually used the gas-tax money on the roads, the roads would be in better shape.

Pennsylvania has tried 3 times...and been denied 3 times...requests to toll I-80. Mainly because they had planned to use part of the money to subsidize mass transit in Pittsburgh and Philly. Federal law does not permit that. Now they are floating a plan to toll EVERY highway at the point that it enters PA as sort of an Admission Fee. WHAT PART OF “NO” DO YOU CRETINS NOT UNDERSTAND!!!
(the traditional problem has been distribution...Harrisburg and Philly got taken care of, roads in Western PA were left to rot. Jim Quinn from the Quinn and Rose Show did a parody song about this back in his disc jockey days)
