I still think China and South Korea will work together behind the scenes, neither wants North Korea to deteriorate where both countries are overrun with refugees.

You nailed it!. I have been saying this for over a year. This is all a big chess game that China is playing. China could end N.Korea threats in a week. 80% of N.Korea trade, including fuel, food and electricity comes from China. It’s in China’s interest to use N.Korea as a pawn against the West. China learned from their takeover of Hong Kong from the British. That jumpstarted their economy and took it to another level because of all the business, banking and manufacturing expertise they inherited. Taiwan will be just like another Hong Kong and will take China to another higher level.
The threat of another Korean war, this time with Nukes will be how they do it. It will make 0zer0 do anything for “Peace in our Time”. He will sell out Taiwan like Neville Chamberlain sold out Czechoslovakia to Hitler.
