Well, since we’re talking about campaigns being DOA, in your view — can you tell me how it is that DeVore would win? I mean, I would vote for him in the General. But how, exactly, is DeVore supposed to beat Boxer?

After all, we’ve already had Bruce “strip club” Herschensohn vs. Boxer, and we know how that turned out. Boxer beat Bruce by 5 points. Then she beat Matt “son of a liberal Democrat” Fong by 10 points. Then Bill “I have no money” Jones by 20 points. (see a pattern here?).

This time, if it’s Fiorina, we have Babs vs. a woman, who will outspend Boxer, and who is conservative. So the woman thing is neutralized, the money thing is neutralized.

And what you have left is a liberal vs. a conservative.

And you’re worried about Boxer trying to paint Fiorina as a job-killer CEO? Are you seriously worried about that, or is that just the usual straw man argument?

All Fiorina has to do in that case is say:

— 12.6 percent jobless rate in Boxer’s home state and 10 percent jobless rate nationwide.

— During the four years that Boxer and Reid have run the Senate, the jobless rate has more than doubled from 4.5 percent to basically 10 percent.

— The Boxer Regime has presided over the loss of 10 million jobs (I’m too lazy to look up the exact number from Jan. 2007 until now, but you get the idea)

— The Boxer-Reid-Obama Regime has presided over annual budget deficits of up to $2 trillion — Boxer has voted for annual deficits that are greater than all the prior deficits in history combined.

— The Boxer-Reid-Obama regime has presided over bailouts of failed auto companies, failed banks, failed insurance companies, all for the purpose of helping out their corrupts pals on Wall Street

And that’s just for starters.

We finally have a chance to send this harpy home to Marin County. I’m for anybody who can do it.

-George

But the funniest thing is, I never thought that Arnold would be quite as bad as he turned out to be...

but still better than a RAT.

Fiorina is the weakest of the 3 in a head to head agAinst Boxer.

Very true. She has the highest negatives of the three. If she wins the primary, kiss our chances goodbye in November.

I’m not buying this poll. Why have the hits started on DeVore? I thought Carly was campaigning against Campbell. Hit piece in LA Times, innuendo about Chuck’s military history, all too well timed to not have a reason. There is energy behind Chuck and they know it.

But with the RINO Campbell jumping in and making it a two-person race between him and Fiorina in poll after poll after poll, with DeVore not coming close to winning, I’m supporting Fiorina as the only non-RINO who can beat Campbell in the primary.

Your logic escapes me. You want a 100% conservative but you’ve been conditioned to think that you can’t have that happen in CA and that only a RINO can win, so you will vote for the least objectionable RINO. When you have a candidate to vote for, someone who is a legitimate conservative, you should be jumping at the chance, rather than hoping you’re going to guess who the winner will be. If DeVore loses, he loses. It won’t be because I didn’t vote for him. If he loses, we get who we get and if it’s Campbell, it’s Campbell. Beating Boxer requires a candidate who will attack the Obama agenda, not cozy up to Feinstein. It will require a candidate who is willing to tell people the truth convincingly and neither Campbell nor Carly are likely to do that.

If Fiorina was a RINO, I would support DeVore no matter what, but that is not the case. Fiorina is an acceptable candidate

“Sen. Feinstein has been a fine senator for the state of California, and has accomplished a great deal. I would describe her as a pragmatic problem-solver,” “I admire her, I respect her. I like her. I think and I hope she would say the same about me.” Carly Fiorina Apr 3, 2010

But, I guess if John McCain would be a coup for California, Diane Feinstein must be OK too.

Bill simon would have defeated Gray davis if not for his horrible campaign and the news of his offshore bank accounts.

Campbell must be defeated. He is the worst of RINOS.

I don’t see how DeVore wins.

If it has to be CF, that’s life.

This isn’t theory here. Two of these people won’t cut it, no matter if the third was CF or someone else.

Fiorina has to get through this primary. Otherwise she’s not on the ballot in November. So yes, she does have to run to the right. And no I don’t believer her at all.

She won’t be getting my vote. DeVore will. Sorry I goofed and said DeMint earlier. Whoops.

Do what you have to do. I’m not joining you this time.

RE: Her comments on DiFi...This is not a statement of agreement on issue positions.

It’s personal.

Di is known for sometimes agreeing with GOP colleagues.

Otherwise she’s a Lib Dem.

The point is she’s not as bad as
Boxer.

Not this time or ever again, I will not compromise and vote for the lesser of the evil again. I don”t know where this Nation and all of these things will end up. But of this one thing I am assured God is in control. The sign I carry at the Tea Parties says I fought and bled for Freedom not a Dictator. I have earned the right to choose and I choose no RINOS.

Easternsky, you’re not alone bud. I don’t know what this year will hold by the time it ends, but I am very reticent to vote for anyone who hasn’t got a clue.

The one thing is, Boxer MUST GO.

John Eastman is the best candidate in the AG race.

Poizner is bad news in the gov race.

I already voted for Chuck DeVore via absentee ballot -- so my conscience is clear. :o)

But, it appears -- admitedly from just this one survey, so far -- that Governor Palin's endorsement of Fiorino has actually swayed more previous CAMPBELL voters!

Her endorsement seems to have had little effect on DeVore's numbers.

John McCain, Lindsay Graham, Olympia Snowe and Sarah Palin are backing Fiorina. Naturally.

So, no, Carly Fiorina is no Susan Collins or Olympia Snowe

They both endorsed her.
