I worked on the Bruce Hershchensohn campaign when he ran against Boxer. Bruce defeated Tom Campbell for the nomination in 1992. I remember very clearly Campbell’s Big Tent GOP supporters announcing that there was no way that they would vote for Bruce in the General Election.

As usual it’s the “moderates” who make a lot of noise about how only their chosen candidate can win. And you know they’re right- because your crowd has a history of not voting for the conservatives.

Bruce Hershchensohn should have been our Senator. The last minute smear attacks on him that the Boxer Campaign pulled was despicable, but that is their strategy.

I used to say Barbara Boxer was as dumb as a box of rocks. Now I use a more accurate comment. Barbara Boxer is as dumb as a box of, well, Barbara Boxers.
