Hardly. I am simply stating a fact. If you are considered an enemy by another nation and you invade their territory, getting shot at should hardly be considered surprising or frankly even news. Now if the IDF planes were in their OWN airspace and got shot at? THAT would be surprising, newsworthy and I would sincerely hope that the IDF turned the launch sites into smoking craters in the planet.

A couple in the 90s i think are the most recent.

Here’s a few examples. We didn’t shoot at either. Short of open war, seeing an aircraft stray into your space is never justification alone to open fire.
