Gov Brewer has every right to deploy her own NG to the border and she can personally order them to actually guard the border. With the money she will save on schooling, jailing, and medicating illegal aliens, she can easily afford it. The Mexican gov't lost control of it's border to the males cabrones a while ago.

We need Iraq war veterans with the same heavy equipment they used in Iraq down there. And a squadron of AC-130 gunships operated by the Special Forces patrolling it from the air.

And Calderon would be smart to ask for temporary assistance with the Mexican military to stop those cartels dead in short order.

National Guard units are under Federal control. Governors have to ask permission to use them. Every Southern state needs to seriously consider forming a ARMED state Defence Force to protect it’s borders.
