Allegations that the White House offered Joe Sestak a job in exchange for dropping out of the Pennsylvania Senate race echo an earlier report of a job offer to candidate Andrew Romanoff in Colorado.
On September 27, 2009 the Denver Post reported that the Obama administration offered Senate candidate Romanoff a position if he canceled plans to run for the Democratic nomination against incumbent Sen. Michael Bennet.
The paper said the job offer, which specified particular jobs, was reportedly delivered by Jim Messina, Obama’s deputy chief of staff. One position cited by the Post was a job at USAID, the foreign aid agency.
Messina contacted Romanoff soon after news leaked in August 2009 that Romanoff, former Colorado House speaker, would make a primary run against Bennet.
Romanoff turned down the offer and announced his candidacy. Obama then endorsed Bennet, who had been appointed in January 2009 to fill the seat vacated when Ken Salazar became Secretary of the Interior.

Only problem is that the DNC is the Party of Sandy Berger
and the Bulgers and Obama and Holder; and
that means there will be NO accountability - ever.
The scary thing is, they know this and will therefore be emboldened to do whatever they wish as this all moves forward. You cannot impeach a black president.

See, this happens all the time in DC. This code is just some antiquated law that doesn’t fit today’s situation. The Republicans are making a mountain out of a mole hill. We have more pressing problems today, and don’t need to read meaning into an old law that isn’t there....
I don’t even have cable, but its as if I’ve already seen what the talking heads will be saying next week.
It’s way too soon to be talking about impeachment — but it is also way past time for Sestak to tell us just who it was in the White House who made him the bribe. He is protecting a felon by not ‘fessing up.
It really makes you wonder just how much cheating went into the 2008 election, doesn’t it?
