France: Veil ban must 'be respected'
AKI ^ | 5/27/2010

Paris, 27 May (AKI) - A decision by the French government to ban the Muslim burqa should be respected because each country has its own specific needs, said Amthal Sabah, sister of the Kuwaiti emir, Sabah al-Ahmad al-Jabir al-Sabah. Sabah spoke to Adnkronos International (AKI) about the controversial debate during the 'Forum for Volunteers in Kuwait and France' in Paris.

"Every country has its own specificity," Sabah told AKI. "We do not interfere in French politics, and we do not accept France interfering in the politics of Kuwait."

The French cabinet last week approved a bill making it illegal to for women to wear the burqa or the full-face Muslim veil.

Women wearing the veil in public could be fined, and men judged to have forced them to do so could be imprisoned.

Parliament needs to approve the bill and France's top legal advisory body has warned it may not be enforced.

"In every country there are circumstances that dictate the laws and we respect the will and the laws of each country," Sabah said.

Regarding her visit to France, Sabah said she was there to promote joint projects between the European union and Gulf states.

I wonder if she'd have the same point of view if the veil ban happened here in the States. ....or if we had mosque ban. ...or one on rabble-rousing Islamists. I suggest we give it a try and see.

For Sale: French Army rifle. Only dropped once.

With their low birth rates, they better grow a net set or France will only be a memory.

“Bizarro World is what this am...the French are fighting back?”

And they actively deport people too. It’s a FASCINATING thing. I’ve never seen anyone but me write on the issue. The French can defend themselves because they don’t have socialists trying to tear down the existing order.

Because France self-identifies as socialist, they can do whatever they need to without leftists putting on the “liberal” lie & fighting them tooth & nail.

Russia has the same situation. Putin talks about castrating muslim terrorists while we get royally screwed by a left feigning “liberalism”.

Astonishing, and ironic, that the Surrender Monkeys are the only ones drawing the line against cultural incursions by the invaders from Islam.

Good for them.
