Mike's totally wrong about a “checkmate” by using Bill Clinton due to his private citizen status. Clinton was used as an intermediary between two parties where a crime occurred. Bill's non-governmental employee status has no bearing in that he acted as an agent for the verbal transaction. On the contrary, it implicates him as part of a conspiracy to affect the outcome of a federal election through bribery.
