Refuting allegations that the Obama administration offered Rep. Joe Sestak, D-Pa., a job in exchange for dropping out of the contested Pennsylvania Democratic senate primary earlier this month, the White House says an internal investigation shows nothing improper took place and "that the allegations of improper conduct rest on factual errors and a lack of basis in the law."
In a memo released to the press, White House counsel Robert Bauer says no White House staff made such a proposition to Sestak and that White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emmanuel only worked through former President Bill Clinton to discuss "options of service on a Presidential or other Senior Executive Branch Advisory Board."

That “secured Blackberry” is going to be our downfall. I remember previous administrations having to produce emails and phone records, if not lost or destroyed i.e., Clinton’s, yet the Kenyan gets to secretly destroy us on our dime. I gotta be dreaming................
Isn’t an unpaid job otherwise known as volunteering? Hell, not even ACORN does that. C’mon, liars can lie better than that.
Facing his Backside? Oh no, that’s not the way the first gay administration faces.
Didn't Algore Hiss say something like that when he accepted bribes from Buddhist nuns? Something like, "there is no controlling authority" ? Somebody correct me, if my quote is wrong.
Rahm Emmanuel—Hey, it’s the Chicago way! It must be illegal.
Smell? You mean the ink isn’t even dry on this faux memo yet?
Interesting that this is put out on Friday before a holiday weekend—it will get no press. Deliberate manipulation—what’s new with that?

It must have really irked der Leader to have to beg Clinton to fall on the granade. I wonder what he offered him?
Funny how this works almost completely into the Blago negotiations. All straw men. Just like in Goodfellows, Pauli became so paranoid, no one could speak directly to him, only through one trusted minion.
Exactly what I thought. But Levin is a lawyer and a Constitutional scholar so now I know I'm right.
Correction: “Allegedly Refutes Misconduct”
QUESTION ARLEN< CLINTON AND SESTAK!!
This is huge, and I haven’t paid a whit of attention to it-—but it MUST be huge because they keep denying it rather than ignoring it.
From one of the most corrupt, lying administrations ever they are say, “Trust us would we lie to the American voters”?
Oh and by the way that is another lie as we could care less.
This deal stinks all the way to the pig farm.
Wait, wait, wait...
We’ll just write a memo about it. That’ll take care of it.
Bad headline, ABC. The memo rebuts, it doesn’t refute.
