Three generations of Bushes descended on a Brickell area church Saturday for a wedding and Memorial Day weekend family reunion of the Republican Party's most enduring dynasty.
The two former presidents -- George Herbert Walker Bush and George W. Bush -- were on hand, along with the former first ladies to watch as former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush's youngest son, John Ellis Bush Jr., 26, known as ``Jebby,'' married Coral Gables resident Sandra Algudady.

I wonder if she’s a lib on abortion and homosexuality like the other Bush women.
Nah, I dont know about “jebby’s” politics. Congrats to em’ both.
14 wonderful photos at link. 41 looks spiffy but he’s got a cane.
Let’s hope he goes into a nice career as an insurance agent, or a butcher, or a software designer ...
Nice day for a very accomplished family. “Algudady” - is that Persian origin? Arab?
Best wishes and much happiness to them both.
Not sure, but her middle name is Mary.
I happen to be reading Laura Bush’s book right now-—a lot of it is interesting, especially her account of what went on in the White House during 9/11—stuff I had never heard before.
All in all, I think I’m enjoying reading it, as it does have a lot of history in it. They are obviously a very tight-knit family, and I wish the newly weds well.
Jebby? oh geees,,
Yes, the ceremony took place in a Catholic church, so I assume the bride and her family are Christians. Hmm, “Algudady” - I’m guessing Persian or South Asian origin. Anyway, congrats to the happy couple.
If Jeb had been elected POTUS instead of his inept brother, the Bush name would have been rescued from their father’s horrible one term debacle.
I had a college roommate back in the 1980s who was Lebanese, Catholic and very Conservative (passed away last year).
he’s got a cane..
When’s his next skydive scheduled?
Pushing 90 in a couple years or so..
GHWB actually turns 86 this june 12, he was born in 1924
Lovely, classy family. Much happiness to the newlyweds.
Looks like George P. in third photo.
Yeah, I noticed is cane. I think his sky diving days are over, but who knows?
I don’t care about either of their politics. I hope they’re blessed with a long and happy marriage, like Poppy and Bar, George W. and Laura, and Jeb and Columba.
Thanks for the post. Great pictures, wish them every happiness.
Don’t agree — I think W will some day recognized as one of our best presidents.
Great pixs. I was surprised to see the groom’s mother wearing black to her son’s wedding.
It was great seeing his smiley face.
Amen!!!!!!!! Great comment.
But of course you do realize that he will one day also run for President.
It said they were married at a Melkite-rite Catholic Church, so she´s probably Lebanese. She looks it.
She´s very pretty, and her new husband is very good looking. Kind of refreshing after the strange ¨First Family¨ we have had to put up with for the last year or so.
Pres. Bush did a remarkable job under very tough conditions. I believe history will be much kinder to him than the ungrateful citizens of his time.
I wonder if his nephew’s marrying a gal of Lebanese descent will endear “W” any more to that other Lebanese beauty, Helen Thomas ?
Are you kidding me?!!!! W will go down as the Republican's version of Jimmy Carter. He, and others like him - such as McAmnesty, are the reason we have the most liberal president in U.S. history (aside from FDR) and, as a silver lining, the reason the Tea Party was reborn in the 21'st century.
He didn’t deserve the opprobrium heaped on him, that is certainly true.
But he expanded Medicare, furthered the role of the feds in education, bloated the budget deficit, tried to give amnesty to illegals and gerally refused to take on the left head-on.
On the positive side, he gave us two VERY good SC justices, which are very strong points in his favor. One demerit, though, for trying foist Harriett Myers on us.
He handled the War on Terror well also.
Bottom line: C+
Wich admittedly is better than the F- performace we’re getting from the present occupant. But great? Hardly.
Jeeeezzzz...can't ya just drop the politics for even a little bit to wish the young couple well. There really is more to life than politics.
That cane is so tall it looks like a staff, LOL.
Politics is the only reason we know of these people.
Yeah, that Bush/Hasteret/Lott era was just fantastically conservative. The 9/11 intel debacle, no plan for post Baghdad, firing the poor smuck that said the occupation might be expensive, TARP, debts on future generations forever, mucking about in the Insane Clown Posse of Afghanistan, becoming debt junkies to China, open borders, hand in hand with Kennedy spending.
Next to the current president George Bush was the second coming of Ronald Reagan (that’s right, they called Reagan inept, too.) Obama has given new meaning to the word and brought “inept” to an art form...
You think those are bad, you should read the comments on this thread! Despicable and very low class! The morons are running the asylum.
I agree 100%
I miss “W” every day I see “O” on TV.
Yes I am proud to say it loud and clear.
I MISS “W”
I hope the new Lebanese member of the Bush family holds up to the ravages of time better than Helen Thomas! Although Helen was probably pretty odd looking to begin with...
I did read them. The worst ones came from the same person who obviously has such an ax to grind against GWB that he is blinded to how good we had it then compared to now. He blames Bush for the fact that Obama was elected when I think that most of the blame falls on McCain and the irresponsible MSM who refused to report the facts that were known at the time about Obama. In the newspaper’s comment section, the negative comments were the rule rather than the exception.
oh, poor Helen never had a chance. There have been pix of her in her youth (with JFK) posted here. She’ll never be mistaken for Mrs. Jebby Bush, that’s for sure!
He’s looking a bit frail.
41 looks spiffy but hes got a cane.
He’s been using a cane for sometime now. I know he had one back on the commissioning of the George HW Bush back in Jan. 09.
Yes, GHWB does look a little frail in the photos. Of course he’s walking down steps.
I didn’t know he used a cane. Not good for someone who’s known as a Bush-bot...lol.
Here’s a couple of photos with a cane.... In #1 X43 is holding the cane for him.
Thank you, deport. That cane looks like a medical device. Perhaps it was used right after his hip replacement surgery. The cane in the wedding photo is fancy. He’s aging. He needs to use a cane. God bless him.
