Just thought of a silver lining. But first of all, I hope this gets stonewalled until after Nov when hopefully the Evil party will be in the minority in Congress.

Here's the silver - this will most likely seriously rile up many in the military who might have not yet realized what a steaming pile of all that is bad is squatting in the White House. Politicize and activate 'em. That is a good thing. No one can really become an evil dictator without the military on their side.

"How do we actually implement this in a way that strengthens the force?" Powell said.

We can't.

The real question is, how can this policy be implemented and cause the least damage to the force?

It appears that there are going to be more than enough votes to stop this in the Senate even if we lose a couple NE Republicans.

Thanks, I hope so.

It’d be great to see the Senate support our military in spite of Zer0 and the leftists going after the gay vote.

Someone please tell me, what does “serve openly” actually mean?

The question is what will 'serve openly' be CONSTRUED to mean by homosexuals, liberal Democrats, and their Fuhrer?

Observe how the opinion in Lawrence v. Texas was construed from the right to practice sodomy in the privacy of one's own home, to the right to impose radical redefinition of marriage on society, the enacting of "hate-crime" legislation, and the right to public homosexual sex.
