I am just trying to understand what there is to admire about Russia, or its technology. What good have they done for anyone but the ruling class in Russia?
The article says nothing positive about communism, so, I don’t understand why you bring this up.
Practically all the manufacturing plants in the USSR were built by US (Ford, Caterpillar, GM etc), and Western European companies. USSR was propt up by the West from day one.
