Israel realizes that the U.S. under President Barack Hussein Obama, is no longer an ally and that the Arab states are seeing that and feeling emboldened to attack the nation they constantly vilify. War is coming to the middle east - and very soon. It could well spread.
The world is full of people who mindlessly hate Jews and are seeking a good excuse to cheer on those who consider Israel a 'cancer' that has to be 'excised' from the Muslim word - the middle east. The fact that this was a setup was obvious from the start. I am just stunned that the IDF walked into it. The whole point of using commandos is their ability for stealth and accuracy. But instead they land one-by-one into a mass of armed thugs with paint-ball rifles and handguns! Way to support the troops Netanyahu! I am sorry, but I expect to see repercussions for the Netanyahu govt. for such an ill-planned operation and the ensuing international fiasco.

I have to agree. This was one of the worst planned military actions I have ever heard of. Why they did this, and in this manner, was absolutely baffling.
One question: if this was a military target worth assaulting, then why not send in commandos with better weaponry? Because it looks to me like the Israelis didn’t really think there were a lot of guns on board, which takes away justification for the raid in the first place.
