I love the holographic sights. There are two generations. The later ones have a lower mass battery so they can handle living on top of a big bore revolver. Either variety is good on a rifle. The ones with AA batteries are easy to service in the field. Really good for "spinners" at the range. Can't use them for hunting in Idaho as they are considered "electronic", thus forbidden. Pity.
