Well how’d they find that out? They weigh the final assembly?

Why do I suspect, since this came from the IAEA, that the reality is Iran probably has more like enough to create 20 nukes?

...said it before, and will say it again; This entire mess from Iran to Palestine will end in nothing less than a World War. The pieces continue to fall in place.

Unchecked aggression on the playground and in geopolitics leads eventually to a punch in the mouth.

They had two reports of underground testing and the Israelis know it.

We just continue to deny it.

Two tons? With the right technology, two tons of enriched uranium could be made into several nukes. The launch vehicles are available.

So, Iran sends the enriched uranium to a country with the technology to fashion some miniaturized nukes with EMP capability. The cost would be paid in exchange for oil.
What I fear is the EMP weapons which could be knock out the electricity and electronics of an entire nation.

North Korea, I am talking about you.

Is China sharing some technology too?

Two tons of Iran's enriched uranium equals two bombs? It must not be that enriched then. It sounds like a "dirty bomb".

If true, then Iran is hoping to spread radioactive fallout across a wide area with a basically non-fissile missile.

If they indeed can loft a ton of detritus toward the broad side of a barn.

So much for the CIA-NIE on Iran, as well as Al-Baradei re Iran being years away from an atomic bomb.

I think a crystal ball would be more accurate that those bunches of clowns.

I think another question nobody asked is Iran capable to refining plutonium? If Iran gets the capability to refine plutonium then they could build nuclear weapons in the 35-40 kT range--weapons that could flatten a large fraction of even a large city.

Two tons of enriched uranium (if that is what they have) is enough material to make approximately 75 weapons.

It looks like we will be in for a very hot summer.

This is scare propaganda, all depending on what the definition of “enriched” is.

8%? 99.6%? 4%?

Enriched for LWR fuel, TRIGA fuel, PWR fuel, CANDU fuel, nuke bomb fuel?

I have heard that is it not NEARLY enriched enough. Beyond that needed for reactor fuel, yes, but not nearly enough for a fission bomb. Like 20% instead of the 92% needed.

I’ve read that the US has extra ships in the area, that Israel has subs in the area, and now we have the Palestinian stooges of Iranian stooges trying to make Israel look bad in the press.

Now we find that Iran has 2 bombs worth of material.

We have the US & UN trying to force Israel to have a nuclear weapons inspection.

My take is that they all think Israel will act soon. And that is because Israel MUST act soon.

Apparently, they don’t have a clue what Israel will do. It’s just we all think Israel will do something soon. Maybe real soon.
