Get no more business from me as long as they carry H-S Precision items.

Anyone who would hire murdering scum like Horiuchi is no better than he is.

where son killed a Federal Agent enforcing a lawful arrest warrant, refused to surrender to police, and thereafter had his pregnant wife hold open door instead of at least letting her surrender and at least getting her out of harms way, and agent was following order to shoot armed male and actually did shoot armed male (Harris) bullet went through his shoulder and killed women who never should have been there in first place. Agent is the bad guy. Okay. Now I know why people think the “right” is nuts.

the officers came up and shot their dog, then shot Sammy weaver , on bogus charges for making a sawed off shotgun by his dad. The whole thing could have once AGAIN been done by snatching this guy in town but the ATF and FBI wanted to show the media what a cool bunch of ninjas they are and ONCE AGAIN f@$ked up. That is why the white supremacists won a couple of million dollars. He lost his wife. He lost a son and he lost an unborn child for living out in the middle of the sticks and making the mistake of being a Christian who thinks that whites are superior to other races. I am brown skinned and he might or does hate my "kind" but I think that you have the right to not like me because I am brown. The Waco and ruby ridge incidents were the governments way of letting Christian protesters that the ATF and FBI were not screwing around and that if you say you want to "go" they will more than willing to oblige.

You have no idea what you are talking about.

You haven’t got it straight. For one thing, Weaver didn’t threaten Reagan or anyone else. He wanted to be left alone. Another issue is that he willfully provided a sawed off shotgun to the informant. He refused to cut the barrel less than 18”, thinking that was the proper compliance with the NFA. He didn’t know (most people don’t) that a shotgun also has to have an overall length greater than 26”. This is why the gov’t lost the case against him. Entrapment is a dirty business.

Of the ten charges against Weaver, two counts were dismissed by the judge. Six got not guilty verdicts. One guilty verdict was set aside by the judge. The remaining guilty verdict was for failure to appear.

The feds paid over $3,000,000 to the Weaver family to avoid civil suit. Kevin Harris was not so easily dissuaded and won $380,000 at trial.

Kevin Harris demonstrated proper use of the M1917 Enfield rifle in self defense. Gotta love those classic military chamberings; they munch Kevlar.

I was just wondering whatever happened to Murdering Ron the other day. So now I know. Disgusting.

“unpopular” or “non politically correct” views will not be tolerated under the new left’s regimes.

Bowmanned... I like that usage of Henry's name. It will now be added to my permanent vocabulary.

With the current trends there may be a sudden uptick in the number of federal employees being Bowmanned... Yep, that works.

They didn't bother to go to all that hassle. The US Attorney (supported by a federal judge) just asserted federal jurisdiction and moved the case to federal court where it was promptly dismissed with prejudice, so the case couldn't be re-filed.

Just so. But the possibility of further state action in Idaho against US Marshall Degan's widow Karen Degan of Quincy, Mass. for conspiring with Horiuchi to murder Mrs Weaver remains a possibility.

And, since such a conspiracy against the civil rights of Mrs. Weaver remains a federal crime which carries the death penalty, there's no statute of limitations to prevent such a federal action against Horiuchi in the event Karen Dugan would care to testify against him to see possible charges against her lessened.

Of course, Horiuchi may see fit to murder her to prevent that from happening. After all, he's shot one unarmed woman to death already, and he has access to the equipment to do so from H-S Precision.

You lost me. How does the widow of a dead Marshal figure into a muder conspiracy? The entire episode as I understood it hangs on the wording of the ROE that states when suspects may or should be taken under fire and under what circumstances. What's the spouse have to do with on-site operations?

Horiuchi is indeed still liable to prosecution under 18USC242. Pity that'll never happen.

However I can write a nice letter to the folks at HS to let them know why I will never, ever purchase another one of their products.

Doesn’t seem like you got anything right...well, maybe the government story line, but not the facts.

According to witnesses present at the "siege" following the justifiable death of deputy U.S.Marshal Degan after he shot 14-year-old Sammy Weaver in the back [the other two deputy U.S. Marshals present, Larry T. Cooper and Arthur D. Roderick, who acknowledged shooting the boy's dog, denied that they were the ones who killed the boy] after the FBI arrived and took operational control of the scene, Horiuchi engaged in a private conversation with Karen Degan, in which Horiuchi reportedly told the recent widow that he would avenge the Marshals death, but only after Randy Weaver got to find out for himself what it was like to have his own spouse shot down.

In the federal civil trial that followed, the US federal government settled the claim with a 3.1 million dollar payment to Weaver, but denied thatr the federal government or its agents and employees had done anything wrong.

The payment came from U.S. taxpayers, of course, and in now way did the federal agencies or employees responsible suffer any personal financial loss. Horiuchi, however, has been unable to attend his subsequent class reunions at West Point and Honey Creek High School.

Lon Horiuchi murdered an innocent woman, by literally blowing her face apart while she was carrying a baby. That is something that can’t be forgiven. H.S Precision should have been boycotted out of business by now.

Apparently you aren't clear on where I stand re Horiuchi. Read

jedgar's #23 on this thread

and

my reply in #37.

Given the above -- you think I support HS? I'm disappointed they still exist...
