I would not have assumed that gays felt unwelcome at McDonald’s (or any other fast food restaurant) and that ‘now the welcome mat is out’ ...unless there was a boycott I didn’t hear about.
So, if Wendy’s or Burger King doesn’t create an advertisement welcoming gays, does that mean they are not ‘gay friendly’ or are ‘not inclusive’ as opposed to McDonalds? I’ve always read that gays have higher amounts of disposable income which may mean they do not frequent McDonalds at levels matching their presence in the population - did this trigger McDonalds new ad or does Micky D’s just want to get some attention by advertising the obvious - they will happily sell food to people who want to buy it?
Homos frequently visit places with children, so McDonald’s likely has a large homo customer base.
