Yes, I got to see him play somewhere. I can’t remember where it was.

(((saveliberty))) Thank you for the thoughtful thread.

His Snowflakes will always miss him along with a lot of people. I like to remember him with his family, President Bush, subbing for Rush and his music.

I LOVE that article. I have sent it to several people over the past few years. Tony was an amazing man. I am so sad that he is gone from us!

Class Act BUMP...

Did not always agree with him, but we could always converse inteligently with him.

Another Snowflake reporting in. Thank you for your ping, saveliberty! Remembering this is Tony’s birthday has given a sudden lift to this day! Reading thru the comments so far, it’s obvious that two of the words that describe Tony perfectly are “Class Act”. In every way he epitomized the very best of the human spirit. We still pray for his family every evening. Looking forward to watching that performance later!

June 1 was also my mother’s birthday .. guess it’s a good day for wonderful people to be born.

I would pray that we would one day again see the likes of Tony Snow in the public forum. Just everything we ever saw about him was incredible: bright, quick, fun, kind, modest, principled. A fine man. Just thoroughly decent.

His family was blessed to have him as their own. May they find comfort in knowing how he enriched all our lives.

One of the things I remember most about Tony was his laugh. I was surprised there weren't more photos of him laughing. There were plenty of smiles, of course.

Even in the face of such dire circumstances in his life, his smile, laugh, and wonderful personality showed his joy of living. He was a special guy.
