Another law abiding, hard working individual, driven to crime by a GUN!!! Where is Shortshanks when you need him. After all, there IS no crime in Chicago.
Seems to have been an argument last night at the taxi rank (hes a taxi driver), and he returned at 10.30am BST and had an argument with someone, shot them, then seems to have gone on a random shooting spree across West Cumbria, through various town and villages.
5 dead and 25 wounded that we know about, though Sky News is reporting a possible murder by him last night after the initial argument.
Reports indicate shotgun wounds. Not known if he had a rifle also.
One of the dead is his mother, he went home and shot her.
Fair enough.
I know some Americans believe knives are banned here (we never considered it, there was a call for it from a few dcotors, but the idea wasnt taken seriously). And I know most Americans think all guns are banned here.
Handguns are, but rifles and shotguns arent, although you need a licence.

Now now folks, let’s be compassionate to the Neo-Socialist progressives on the Left – after all they are the smartest and most caring of anyone in the history of the universe.
With this “Unpossible” (thank you GeronL) event taking place, our ‘Friends’ on the left will be throughly confused as to how this could happen.
Make it your mission today to hug and throughly explain to them that their Moronic ideas (only saying that in a nice way) aren’t worth the power to blow them to hades.
And try to reason with them and make them see the logic in the situation.

At least one of the two weapons used by former Brit taxi driver Bird to shoot 12 other folks dead was a shotgun.
Early reports of him shooting dead his mother are untrue, btw.
In the last year for which information is available 2008/9, the number of deaths in England and Wales due to firearms was 38 - thirty eight. The figure for deaths in USA with a population roughly about 6 times is tens of Thousands.
