The election of Jerry Brown as gov..which is probably going to happen, will finish the job on CA. It may be better sooner than later. The state is broke..no two ways about it. The one two punch of high state salaries and benefits and the overload of welfare and education expenses generated by the illegals has bankrupted the “golden” state.

California has led the nation on a lot of things, and I think it will on this too.

They will go bankrupt and accept a bailout from the feds. Naturally, this bailout will have strings attached.

The net result will be a strong diminishment of their state rights, but it won’t be “unconstitutional” since they will enter it voluntarily in exchange for our tax dolalrs.

Once they do this, there will be several other vote rich states who will quickly follow their lead.

A depressing thought but if I had to bet on it I'd probably agree that Brown will win. We have a gigantic number of voters who are clueless and will tend to blame the problems on the Governor, if for no other reason than that they don't know who their state legislator even is. They pay no attention to politics and news until they are blindsided by events. They (CA voters) are just stupid enough to vote for Brown because Schwarzenegger is a Republican (allegedly). We have so many more takers than makers in CA and we have more arriving every day. The general public is simply clueless. We are so screwed.
