I didn’t know his daddy had any bucks. At the time of the Holloway disappearance he was an unemployed lawyer IIRC.
I don’t remember all the details; however, he inherited some huge very old family estate in Holland - I remember seeing pics of it, and it was impressive. He wasn’t nouveau riche, so didn’t ever show off his inherited wealth.
