PITTSBURGH—President Barack Obama, his presidency bogged down in the Gulf oil spill, lashed out at Republicans Wednesday, linking their deregulatory philosophy to misdeeds by bankers, insurers and oil companies.
Mr. Obama also made a gesture to allies on the left by calling on Congress to pass climate-change legislation that would make it more expensive to burn oil by putting a price on carbon-dioxide emissions. "The votes may not be there right now," he said, "but I intend to find them in the coming months."

With that having been said, I'm totally against cap and trade, as global warning is not caused by CO2. CO2 may actually have a reducing effect based on historical temperatures, since it's obvious that increased temperatures actually cause increases in CO2.

Yes, the logical disconnect of such a statement, coupled with Zero's apparent view of "finding" votes that don't now exist are beyond delusional.
Behind his statement is a clear intent to manipulate through coercion or bribery. Listen for the IRS audit threats, keep a close eye on the wife and kiddies, and stay out of Fort Marcy Park.

This is one very evil and dangerous man. He will get away with as much as he can and there will come a point, if he isn’t stopped, where he will never be stopped.

Thank God that the University of East Anglia emails were leaked! Global cap and trade was on track for implementation in 2010 until that happened, and the perps were well on their way to untold riches. And the rest of us were well on our way to poverty and slavery.
I don’t think cap and trade stands a snowball’s chance of passage now. The jig is up, world-wide, and the next step is to ID all the perps and FRog march them to life prison terms in some third world Hellhole prison! No Club Fed for these guys ‘n gals, NOSIREE!
We all need to continue to encourage Glenn Beck to keep peeling the global warming scam onion — I suspect there is far more skullduggery afoot which needs to have the spotlight of truth shined upon it.
