WASHINGTON – The Obama administration dangled the possibility of a government job for former Colorado House Speaker Andrew Romanoff last year in hopes he would forgo a challenge to Democratic Sen. Michael Bennet, officials said Wednesday, just days after the White House admitted orchestrating a job offer in the Pennsylvania Senate race.

These officials declined to specify the job that was floated or the name of the administration official who approached Romanoff, and said no formal offer was ever made. They spoke on condition of anonymity, saying they were not cleared to discuss private conversations.

"Mr. Romanoff was recommended to the White House from Democrats in Colorado for a position in the administration,"

As more time goes by, the more scandals are being exposed. I wonder if they will use Bill Clinton again as the whipping boy in exchange for paying off Hillary's campaign bills.

Bill will eventually claim that he was threatened and blackmailed by Obama. (I hope).

More likely Bill will ultimately contradict (’innocently’, of course) the official version just enough to cut Obama’s legs out from under him. Then, while Bill grins cherubic-like, rambling on about what a loyal team player he is, Obama will twist in the wind. Bill is a sly old dog. He’ll do this thing right, with nuance and finesse, imho.

Actually, I’m surprised they didn’t wait until July 4th to release this. After all, they waited until the Friday evening before Memorial weekend to release the info about Seestak.

This is just the democrats trying to get rid of Barry. They know he’s not re-electable, so they’re coming out of the closet to take him down sooner than later. I bet there will be new allegations against pelosi any day now.

Even MSNBC has the story...

Romanoff admits job talk with White House
Colo. Senate candidate was approached to forego challenge of incumbent

This is getting bigger and bigger all the time. Just like Watergate - Obama can only be a criminal for so long, before it catches up with him.
