Mars-500” project is being conducted by the State scientific center of the Russian Federation – Institute for Bio-Medical Problems of RAS under the aegis of Roscosmos and Russian Academy of Sciences. It includes a series of experiments simulating these or those aspects of an interplanetary manned flight. The main part is a series of experiments on long-term isolation of the crew in conditions of the specially built ground-based experiment facility.

We now have a government whose purpose is to nullify its citizens rights and enslave those citizens. All things technical (except for private efforts) are on the back burner and will likely remain so for the next several decades. I have no doubt that the Russians, and likely others, will move deeper into space while our government is busy polishing and perfecting the subjugation of its citizens.

The experiment is being conducted independently in 150 locations across the northern part of the country (i.e. Siberia) and will involve “volunteers” who are known for their opposition to the policies of Putin.
