That’s fine. I just don’t think it’s good when people knee-jerk towards a generally conservative group/person because one particular thing sets them off.

Even when that "one particular thing" is the endorsement of Benedict Arnold?

Honestly, it hasn’t been just one thing. We pay quite a bit of money to the NRA, and it gets us very little.

The media plays it up that the NRA is a terrible organization, because they know that will convince many people to support an organization that doesn’t give them nearly the grief it is pretended they do.

Yes, once in a while the NRA does hit one out. Sadly they strike out hundreds of times in-between. And all to often they refuse to go to the plate on top of that.

So you don’t like McCain. I don’t think J.D. is much of an improvement.

Well, he should be. Sadly, he’s not having to run all that fast, what with well meaning idiot Republicans fawning all over him.

Unbelievable. It appears to me that we are not going to rid ourselves of McCain as hoped.

Hasn’t McLame always supported increased restrictions on gun shows? Sometimes the NRA baffles me. I understand there are a LOT of politics involved and calculations involving chances of winning, etc, but at some point this organization needs to follow through on its claimed convictions. I say this as an NRA member for 10 years.

That does it for the NRA for me, what a bunch of losers, really, give me a break. I’ve been saying this for years, it’s the Globe Trotters vs. the Generals, it’s fixed, both are on the same team, and it’s true ...

So you don’t like McCain.

You are so understated.

I called him Benedict Arnold. Is that what tipped you off?

Frankly, I probably owe Benedict Arnold an apology. At least before he turned traitor he was known for more than having horses shot out from under him.

You just convinced me. I have contributed to both the NRA and GOA over the years. I shall drop the former, even if it means no more ‘American Rifleman’.

Yeah, I’m not crazy about him either, but, as the old saying goes, better the devil you know than the devil you don’t know.

I will let the NRA know that I will not renew my membership. I will not support any organization that supports RINO’s, especially a RINO that would in a heartbeat compromise my 2nd Amendment rights if he thought he could draw political gain.

NRA has their heads collectively up their asses.

Please Lord; On election day. please may the voters in Arizona THINK FOR THEMSELVES, and ignore all the phoney baloney endorsements, and cast their votes for a REAL Republican instead of a Rino. Amen.

So did Sarah Palin. She not only endorsed him, she came out and held a rally for him and got thousands onto his RINO bandwagon.

I just joined the NRA a few months ago. There was a 5 page piece on Harry Reid’s ‘heroic’ efforts in procuring land for a range in Nevada.

And now this???

Just another sign that money talks AND McCain is a very vindictive person.
