It is not, thanks to Rupert Murdoch and Fox News - A Florida court decided that news organizations(probably other organizations aswell) could lie, misinform and twist the truth as much as they wanted.
First Amendment and all that.
Back in the day we had a united county, (not full of communist) it was called yellow journalism... Now its called,, CNN,, MSNBC,, ABC,,, NBC... I could go on... my fingers are tired.
