I can certainly see where attorney-client privilege would apply, to the extent certain documents would fall under this doctrine. Further, they might not represent her own opinions, but rather her advocating for her client and their position (it’s what lawyers do). I can’t see where they would make a blanket “no” for all documents apply, but you could then take it to the bank that nothing controversial would make it to the Senate.
That said, the Senate has rights too - including filibustering, and failing to bring her nomination out of committee.
No need to get all huffy about it - “O” does what he has to do, and the Senate does as well. The Senate should filibuster, and say “NEXT!”
