Yup, anything to destroy the economy. My sister who lives in Florida said this is already affecting the economy of all the Southern states. She says the word on the street is there's plenty of oil at the 150-200 foot level but the EPA would not give leases closer to shore (at these depths), so the companies started all this deep water drilling. . . She said it would have been easy to repair as divers could have worked on it immediately. . it's the pressures at the deep depths that makes repairs a nightmare. . . Another example of anti-capitalist government rules and regulations leading to disaster.
Another thing my sister said was the big companies may all just move offshore to Venezuela and Cuba. Obama would love that - helping out the Marx Brothers. . .
