Yeah. For some reason I can’t quite qualify...

the dole doesn't last forever...but it may be that spouses are still working and that many people get some kind of govt pension or private pension and then there always is SS....

what people may find is that if they simply lowered their life style just a bit they actually can live rather nice...having one person home all day to watch the kids or cook or shop or clean, and maybe it makes for a quieter, more peaceful homelife...
