Supporters of Arizona's new law cracking down on illegal immigration are planning to rally at the state Capitol on Saturday.
The rally follows dueling events last weekend that drew thousands of opponents and supporters of the law.
This weekend's rally could be muted by soaring temperatures expected to hit 107 degrees.
Rally organizer Daniel Smeriglio says the rally is a grass roots effort and participants are traveling from around the U.S. to attend. Smeriglio says they will be providing lots of water and are asking participants to bring umbrellas and wear sunscreen.
Former Republican Congressman Tom Tancredo of Colorado, GOP state Sen. Russell Pearce of Mesa and Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio are scheduled to speak at the event.

This weekend's rally could be muted by soaring temperatures expected to hit 107 degrees. That would be enough to mute me.

It makes rounding up the illegals so easy when they gather for a rally.
I suggest that each and every protester be asked to show ID and arrest, awaiting deportation, who can't or refuse. If one supports law breakers they are an asseory to a crime, carding them is warranted.

um... it's a Rally to support AZ1070 not castigate it.
Undoubtedly there will be those that oppose it protesting the AZ1070 supporters that will show up as well.

It’s summer, it’s hot and I’m in Arizona. Just got off of I-40 (East of Flagstaff to New Mexico). When does that “boycott” start? LOL!!! I’m not seeing any effects yet.
