Morning AB and thanks once again for the thread.

Looks like a rather lame guest list on the DBM today, we may have to create our own news as we sometimes do here.

I guess most have heard by now the Rush got married last night. Amazing how many Freepers are giving him a hard time on the thread here. IMHO,the guy deserves all the happiness he can get.

MEET THE PRESS (NBC): Pre-empted by French Open tennis coverage.

Which will probably significantly improve NBC's ratings this Sunday.

Good morning, and thanks again for the thread.

NBC surrendered to the French? How sad.

In other news, this just in from the Future News department at FreeRepublic.com:

“Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal has hired Haliburton to clean up the shoreline after the oil spill caused by an explosion at an off-shore drilling rig. In further developments, Haliburton has announced that it has named Dick Cheney to be the Executive Project Manager for this cleanup.

“Reached for comment, James Carville was heard to mutter something to the effect, ‘It’s good to see adults in charge of this’, and then put a garbage can over his head and walked away.”

Morning everyone!

Thanks for the thread AB, it does look like dreadful viewing, and I won’t be as I have to work....Can you believe it?

I will be catching up on my reading later.

Have a good day all.

thanks AB...

And where are Hitlery? Ambassadors to Korea? Mideast? How about S America?

At least we won’t have to see Helen Thomas...has the press corpse yet issued a denunciation of this antisemetic Arab?
Her venom is not ‘funny’ anymore.

The fact that she gets away with this shows how the press, the media and the adminsitration are right there with her!

2 Republicans; must be a set-up by the White House to ensure Helen Thomas is not mentioned. Will our side have the courage to stand for Israel today and stray from the script? I doubt it.

Morning AB, All...

...again, thanks AB for doing this thread. Hope life is finding you well, if uncomfortably hot.

On a personal note, this week I got a new computer and I am absolutely in love. First, know that it weighs a little over two pounds. It is an HP little thing, has a built in camera, speaker and wireless modem. I turned it on, hand to God, entered my Comcast wireless code...boom, boom and there you have it, connected to the Internet and ALL of my household computers. It has Windows 7...which I love.

On the political front, my man Rush got married yesterday...may he have happiness.

Finally....that awful Helen woman of the WH press corps, publicly demanding that the “Jews go home”.

She’s always been a bitter hag, we all know that, but that crack was over the top. She really should be fired but there’s doubt about that.

Keeping eye open for the Sunday talk shows. Meet the Depressed not on today....tennis or some such.

Bill Clintlon described Oabma as a Chicago Thug so Obama,s management style must be “Chicago Thug” or worse.

CNN

Crowley mentions that the Obama Admin has a “disconnect” regarding the spill. Who is in charge, she asks of Thad Allen? Bumbling Obama can’t seem to decide whether Team Obama or whether BP is in charge.

CNN

Crowley mentions that Obama “is furious” over the spill events.

[She gave a slight smirk like, ‘oh really?’ Even the Libs are having a difficult time taking Team Obama seriously any more.]

Arianna Huffington is one annoying liberal in more ways than simply her voice.

Huffington is blaming Bush/Cheney for the oil spill response.
