A Marine stuns the crowd at a Tea Party with the fourth verse of the Star Spangled Banner. So Much for a "Secular Nation". Thank you for the reminder that our rights come from God and not any man or group of men. God Bless America and Semper Fi Marine!

The 4th verse of "My Country 'Tis of Thee" is well worth noting also; this country WAS a special place to millions of Americans past -- too bad that concept has been lost on so many today.
Our fathers' God, to thee,
author of liberty, to thee we sing;
long may our land be bright
with freedom's holy light;
protect us by thy might, great God, our King.

I was mistaken. This was in Georgia. I just saw another video and before he starts singing he is introduced by Herman Cain of Atlanta.
Video with Herman Cain.

He's no Elton John, but I think you'll love it. No, he's a normal human with an excellent voice, unlike Elton.

It is small, courageous gestures like this that sometimes turn a nation.

A poster on Utube said that standing for a song is like bowing to a king.
This is the scum we are up against (and in the White House, of all places.)

Was the fourth stanza included in the document that Hoover signed when he adopted it as a national anthem? Or was it only in Key’s poem?

He’s no Elton John....... Thank God for that. He’s 100 times better. The only problem is my screen was blurry when I saw the video.

Just so there’s no mistake: The only reason I mentioned Sir Elton was as a reference to Rush paying EJ $1 million to serenade him last night.
