I dont think its affections men are buying...Often, men don't even have physical contact when they buy the time of a whore; they just want someone to listen to them. Likewise, women's biggest complaint is that men don't listen. Taken together, it's ironic and sad, but I think that intimacy is the problem more than lust.

I dont think its affections men are buying...Of course I didn't mean affection in the sense of a tender love. Since it is in the plural, it means simply feeling or emotion--in this case the crude emotions of a quick sexual encounter at an agreed price.
