PTA meetings probably draw bigger crowds than The Pixies.
I am a huge Pixies fan, politics aside, and have seen them numerous times including last November and the venue was sold out. Smaller venue, ~4k capacity.
Of course, they are a local band so they probably draw better in Boston.
