I drove by Eric Clapton’s house Saturday night. He lives in Powell, a Columbus burb. My buddy lives next door in Dublin in a development about 2 par 5’s away from Murfield Village GC.
Needless to say, we were at the tourney yesterday watching Tiger spray balls everywhere except on the fairway...

Do you know who is the sub host tomorrow?
Everyone seems to feel this way, yet they keep coming back. It's not that they're bad, but they don't have anything in particular that makes me want to listen...so I don't. I thought Mark Belling was OK till he went on an ignorant rant against the metric system a few years ago. He reminded me of Grandpa Simpson: "My car gets forty rods to the hogshead and that's the way I likes it."
Mark Steyn is always a good fill-in, and there are times I wish Rush would go on vacation to have Mark Steyn host a few days.
I have the opposite feeling. She drove me crazy during the Reagan briefings, but over the years, I've grown sort of fond of her. I can't help but laugh when she asks her questions. She's such an angry nut case, but that makes her entertaining, IMHO. Contrast her to Chuck Todd, who is just as leftist, but not entertaining in the least. He has no interesting persona; he's just dull and liberal. At least Helen says what she thinks. The rest of the journalists think the same as she, but they hide their views somewhat better.
Steyn is better than the two others but they just drone on and on.
Snerdley, also known as James Golden, used to have his own radio program. He was awesome. I would love to hear him doing Rush’s show.
He deserves his own show.
And instead of Hannity having IMUS dingbat wife on his panel it would be great to get to hear Golden.
