I don’t understand the controversy. Not the amount paid nor the performer who was hired.
I just hope that the hired act was polite and didn’t spout political blather from the stage.
We are 1.5 years into the Obama Age and there are still performers complaining about how much they hate Bush while onstage.

I heard it on “Red Eye Radio” with Doug McIntyre this morning on the same station that plays Rush from noon to 3 (77 WABC in New York). I assume Doug was correct.
