Wow! I am amazed that Helen allowed the mask of a liberal to slip to see the ugly inside but now it looks like many others will only confirm their black hearts.
I used to like Cspan when they had “open lines”. They were getting too many libertarians and conservatives, so they started having segregated lines. It used to be watchable.
Just cruise on over to HuffPo or DU. Helen’s statements are mainstream there.
Actually, I think that it's more likely that the election of obama has the nut-jobs coming out of the woodwork, thinking "hey, here's a guy who thinks like me, elected by the majority (plurality) of the country." They figure that it's safe for them to finally come out and express their true feelings.

I guess the caller thought that if Helen Thomas started it, her could spew his own filth on the air.
make no mistake about it—she said what she said for a purpose. she knew she would get fired. she simply said it because she could.
but she opened the floodgates— it is now not “unheard” of or “outrageuos” to publicly call for the expulsion of Jews from Israel. To say anything less than that is now considered “mainstream”
whats after expulsion? heck, even Hitler started “labeling” Jews before he started expulsions. helen thomas just skipped that step!
