Part of being a performer is the look. She was gorgeous in her prime. Of course fans will be unhappy to see her like this. Some performers can pull it off. I saw Donna Summers a few years ago. She’s a big fat lady now, but her voice is even more powerful than it was during her hit years. If Whitney could sing, still, all would be forgiven. Sadly it seem the crack and the dope have destroyed her pipes, and she is now fat and ugly.

She would be better off working on her greatest hits album than trying to sing her way out of her problems. It’s over for her. The sooner she realizes it the better. Sorry to say, because I honestly idolized this woman as a singer.

Still, it’s over.

In contrast, Ronnie James Dio made his first record in 1959 and toured and recorded continuously until his death at age 67 last month. Whitney is a pop has-been, rock n roll never dies.
