Neither did NPR today. They mentioned that she retired, and mentioned 'controversial remarks' or some such, but no clips of the old bat trying to send Jews to Germany and Poland.

The undercurrent on DU about this is a STRONG sense of support for what she said. Sure there’s some people against what she said in theory, but the most part is like the islamics saying ‘we don’t target innocents, BUT’ stuff. Lots of ‘She shouldn’t have said it, but she’s right really’.

Surprisingly, NBC showed the Internet video that did her in, with all of the damning quotes. But the last half of the report by Andrea Mitchell was all praises so those with a 10-15 second attention span would be left with a positive attitude toward her.
