I enjoy haranguing the French as much as the next guy, but anyone capable of a clean carrier landing and then completing a complex mechanical maneuver in an unfamiliar environment is OK in my book.
I’m sure that anyone serving in the French military has much in common with those serving in ours.
I have lots of respect for the French pilots. I’ve seen the DeGaulle, it’s only about a two-thirds the size of our carriers. You gotta have some real cajones to land on that little thing.
