Idiot reports, does he mean they had a machine gun or was it a semi-automatic....and the “journalist” has no clue as to the difference.
Seems strange someone intent on killing these two would leave behind their machine gun....if it really was a “machine gun”..
May not have even been a rifle, could have been a revolver or b.b. gun, reporters don’t know the difference.

Whether or not, indeed. You don't need "or not," after whether. Should read, "has not concluded whether the victims are legal citizens," or preferably, and simpler, "...if the victims are legal citizens." Why are borderline illiterates reporting on supposedly legit news sites?
