My view on Palin’s electability is based not at all upon her as a candidate, and not all that much on the media’s relentless, rabid assault on her. It is based upon knowing that never before in the history of the US has there been such a multi-cultural, rabidly anti-American addicted-to-handout crowd of such blithering morons as we have now. It’s a wide open question to me whether that can be overcome, and given that worsening times are IMO likely to strengthen their numbers, I’m rather pessimistic as to our odds.

We'll get some answers to this question in November. If the indications are that America is willing to change directions away from the cliff and wants an unabashedly pro-America leader that believes in the values of work and individual liberty and responsibility, Sarah Palin will run for president.

WE are going to answer this question for her...she's made that very clear. That's a refreshing change from the ego-driven politicians we're used to.

May it happen as you project!

As I sit here in CA, I wonder what our elections will produce today.

Yeah, I think we could see glimmers of conservative candidates getting oomph behind them...but glimmers ain’t electoral victories. Not wanting to seem pessimistic, you understand.

I just think the greatest odds are that we see maybe 20% of elections swing conservative-ish, with good showings but disappointing results in most contests. It is hard for me, personally, to escape the bubble I am in, this liberal cesspool called CA.

On the one hand, I’d like to see a conservative swing in poll results.

On the other hand, I absolutely do not see the existence of a mathematical schema that would cause CA to return to a functioning fiscal reality. I mean, the math doesn’t exist.

So in many ways, I’ve become a nihilist, and as I’ve said elsewhere, perhaps it would better to elect solidly democrat candidates to CA to ensure that the inevitable collapse happens faster, with greater certainty...with the idea that the faster the illness overtakes the system, the faster it can be healed.
