Well, Poizner could be purging every conservative out of the CAGOP. And there is no doubt he’d be doing that right now, if he wins.

I don’t even know if Whitman will be any better for us conservatives than Jerry Brown. I hate her. But I know Brown will be a disaster. With Whitman, I have a 10% chance she won’t be, so I have no choice but to vote for her and pray. With Brown, California is so over and done.
The worst thing that happened to CA tonight is it appears Prop 14 passed.

I grew up in CA and still live here and I don't know ANYONE who thinks Jerry Brown is "wonderful." That doesn't mean that he won't win, primarily because he is a Demonrat. However, even those who plan to vote for him don't think he's wonderful.
My liberal wife is not voting for Brown; she's voting for NutMeg Twitman. Maybe it will be The Governator's "3rd term" if NutMeg wins, but at least it won't be Governor Moonbeam...

exactly, jerry brown is not that popular and remembered as a disaster/loon plus the gop is energized this year.
I saw an article that pointed out the unions lost $10 million in the AR primary because they backed the person running against Blanch Lincoln. Again, it was just extorted money, so obviously the union leadership doesn't care other than they didn't win...there are always more union stooges they can extort more money from.
But can she win against Jerry Brown ?
Tell you the truth, it’s better if Jerry Brown is the Gov. when the State’s economy crashes.
