I’m not voting for people who conspire to take our nation down. And when you fraternize with John McCain, that’s exactly what you’re doing.

If you think Brown is bad, I’ll trump you a George Soros et al. You’re a loon if you think Whitman is anything that she has represented herself to be.

Well, Poizner could be purging every conservative out of the CAGOP. And there is no doubt he’d be doing that right now, if he wins.

No, I know that I am not alone, but we are a shrinking minority here.

Everyone here at FreeRepublic should have seen this montioned on any one dozens of threads, as it comes up on every single Meg Whitman thread, as it should.

If you had read those threads, you should have seen this at some point.

I don’t even know if Whitman will be any better for us conservatives than Jerry Brown. I hate her. But I know Brown will be a disaster. With Whitman, I have a 10% chance she won’t be, so I have no choice but to vote for her and pray. With Brown, California is so over and done.

The worst thing that happened to CA tonight is it appears Prop 14 passed.

The money wins.

Poizner is always bragging that he started two billion dollar companies. How did he not have enough money? Of course, he prefers to spend other people's money. He'll have to find another way to raise our taxes now.

“Is that good?”

Not especially. Whitman’s just another social liberal Republican who will masquerade as a conservative and govern to the left. Arnold in a dress.

At least he’s not as left wing as Poizner.

"People in CA belive Jerry Brown is just wonderful?"

I grew up in CA and still live here and I don't know ANYONE who thinks Jerry Brown is "wonderful." That doesn't mean that he won't win, primarily because he is a Demonrat. However, even those who plan to vote for him don't think he's wonderful.

My liberal wife is not voting for Brown; she's voting for NutMeg Twitman. Maybe it will be The Governator's "3rd term" if NutMeg wins, but at least it won't be Governor Moonbeam...

I'm tired of seeing my formerly great state of California slide into the pits of irredeemable hell while morphing into a graffitti-splattered Tijuana-suburban, third-world shell of its former self.

Welcome to Mexipornia...

You, me. Pawns. We are in a culture war that is a fight for our very freedoms.

I’ll tell you what. If I could sacrifice my life, my families lives, and the lives of every friend I have ever had or met in order to GUARANTEE another 100 years of Constitutional freedom, I would take that trade in a minute so that other Americans could benefit from it.

Pawns. Us. Culture war.

8.5 earthquake. San Francisco. Now.

Whitman and Poizner are both RINOs. I fully expected whoever won tonight to make a run for the left, tomorrow. I voted for Poizner in the primary, but will support Whitman in the General Election.

She is going to be up against a war chest of extorted union money. Extorted because the unions steal money from the membership without their explicit permission.

I saw an article that pointed out the unions lost $10 million in the AR primary because they backed the person running against Blanch Lincoln. Again, it was just extorted money, so obviously the union leadership doesn't care other than they didn't win...there are always more union stooges they can extort more money from.

But can she win against Jerry Brown ?

Tell you the truth, it’s better if Jerry Brown is the Gov. when the State’s economy crashes.
