Shouldn’t the lines read “my name is Rachel, I am a self obsessed child who has been sheltered by fawning parents, so I have never learned to think my actions through, or been held accountable to the consequences of my actions. I am far wiser than you, so you must do as I shriek”

Good one from Steyn. By the way, do you know who Corrie’s ultra self-conscious writing reminds me of? Our president.

Steyn again reprises what is to me the most astonishing of all the realities concerning the Israel/"Palestininian" rights question: that is, the incredible anti-Israel sentiment prevalent in Europe among people who should know better. I expect the anti-Semitic garbage from the usual suspects.
But even granted that no country, including Israel, is perfect, it's utterly amazing to see all the so-called western elites smear Israel and totally ignore the murderous, anti-Jewish actions of the Islamists who have committed acts of violence not only against Israelis but against any of their own people who question their actions. How can people be so blind? Unless anti-Semtiism is so reflexively ingrained, they can only see the situation through leftist blinders.
