Of course, that way they can say that we are dependent on them, instead of on God. They must save us from ourselves. Once one denies a Creator, one must then assume that all good comes from the elite, that being the Left. If one believes that man was created in the image of God, has fallen due to sin, and is in need of God’s redemption, then one believes that man was not an accident and can one day return to God in perfect form as in the beginning, not as a single cell organism.
